Foot and ankle stretches for feet that carry you all day
Your feet and ankles work all day inside shoes, and they rarely get a turn to move freely. These routines use small circles, points and flexes, calf stretches against a wall, and heel raises with a wall for balance.
Start with a free 5-minute stretchFree first, no account needed. Then Happy Feet (10 min, guided by voice) and every routine with a 7-day free trial: card required, nothing charged before day 8.
Good for
- Long days on your feet or in work shoes
- Ankles that feel stiff after sitting
- Calves that feel tight after a day in shoes
- A quick break while you sit at a desk
Why a few slow minutes can help
Walking, standing and sitting all keep your ankles in a narrow range. Moving them through a full, easy circle and stretching your calves are simple ways to give them more variety.
The routines go from seated to supported standing, so you can start with the chair and add the wall when you feel steady.

Seated point and flex
Point your toes away from you, then draw them back toward your shins.
Easier: Keep your feet closer to the chair and move through a smaller range.
Seated ankle circles
Draw small, slow circles with your toes, moving at the ankle rather than swinging the whole leg.
Easier: Keep the heel lightly on the floor and trace a much smaller circle.
Seated calf stretch
Draw your left toes up toward you, keeping the knee long but not locked.
Easier: Keep the knee a little more bent and draw the toes up less.
Seated march
Lift one foot a few inches, lower it, then lift the other, like walking in place.
Easier: Lift only your heels, keeping your toes on the floor.
Supported heel raises
Slowly rise onto the balls of your feet, then lower your heels with control.
Easier: Rise only a little, or do this seated, lifting your heels from the floor.
Wall calf stretch
Point both feet ahead. Keep the back heel down and back knee straight but not locked.
Easier: Shorten your stance and lean less.
Bent-knee calf stretch
Keep both heels down and bend both knees a little, sinking your hips straight down.
Easier: Take a shorter step back and bend your knees less.
Supported march
Lift one knee to a comfortable height, lower it, then lift the other.
Easier: Lift your heels only, keeping your toes on the floor, or march while seated.
Tips for a comfortable session
- Move your ankle, not your whole leg, when you draw circles.
- Keep your back heel on the floor in the wall calf stretch.
- Barefoot or in socks is fine. Choose whatever grips the floor.

What does ReliefFlow cost?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it, and you pay nothing if you cancel before day 8. After that it is $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and you can cancel any time from Manage billing.
Is it safe if something already hurts?
ReliefFlow is general wellness guidance, not medical advice. Skip heel raises and wall stretches if you feel unsteady, and stop if a movement causes pain in your foot, ankle or shin. Stop if anything hurts, and talk to a health professional about pain that is sharp, radiating, new or does not ease.
